We are a church that believes strongly in supporting missions. Our primary focus (though not exclusive) is supporting overseas missions. In particular, we support various missionary efforts in the Balkan countries of Europe. Our former pastor, Chip Bell, began his ministry as a missionary in Serbia. He and his wife Julie returned to the United States as their family grew, and he served as our pastor for 24 years. Chip and Julie then felt God leading them back to Serbia. Their deep ties to the region have led to relationships with various missions that our church supports, including Camp Timok (one of the few Christian camps in Serbia), disability camps (such as Joni and Friends) and a Bible college. Chip and Julie live full-time at Camp Timok and open their home as a retreat for pastors and missionaries from the region.
We believe that this unique connection allows our small church to provide vital assistance to God’s work in a part of the world that sorely needs to hear the Gospel of Christ.
