Advent: Preparing for Jesus

Our current teaching series is about the life of Jesus, a chronological trip through the events of his earthly life and ministry. We expect it to run from Christmas 2016 to Easter 2018. You may want to supplement our study by listening to these encore messages from 2013.

"Long-expected Jesus" is about waiting for the Messiah, reviewing 4000 years of anticipation in the Old Testament (as well as another 2000 years of our anticipation for his return). Hearing about how eagerly and desperately God's people awaited God's deliverance may help you better understand what Jesus said when he actually appeared--and how people reacted to it.
